The Plan of Salvation

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. The Purpose: God’s purpose is that we have eternal life. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

 

2. The Problem: We are all sinners by nature and by choice. “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

 

3. The Provision: Jesus died for us on the cross. “Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God”

 (1 Peter 3:8).

 

4. The Plea: We must repent of our sins. “Repent you therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out” (Acts 3:19).

 

5. The Promise: We shall receive eternal life. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

 

6. The Prayer: Pray this prayer and by faith

 receive eternal life: Dear God, I know Jesus is Your Son, and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sins with your help and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for saving me . In Jesus’ name, amen. (Romans 10:9-13).
